I spoke to Carly on the phone today and she truly is the SWEETEST girl ever I’m not sure what location she works for but she was super helpful and you can tell she is there to help people and loves what she does. I never leave reviews but she was exceptional and I couldn’t not put it out there that she is a great part of the SRP team.

To the Board of Directors and Customer Management of Salt River Project: As a dedicated solar customer of 12 years, I am writing to formally address the escalating and unsustainable cost of my monthly electric bills under SRP’s solar program. Despite campaign platforms and board commitments in this year's 2026 election cycle centered on affordability and managing consumer costs, my August 2026 bill has reached an unprecedented high, representing my worst financial month in 12 years of solar adoption. My August Billing Pattern (12-Year Solar Participant): August 2026: $845 August 2025: $627 August 2024: $736 August 2023: $755 This trajectory demonstrates a sharp, continuous erosion of any economic benefit from maintaining rooftop solar under current SRP rate structures. An August bill paying $845 defies the core premise of customer-generator programs, which are intended to provide financial predictability and relief against peak summer demand. With the newly seated board and ongoing pricing adjustments, I request a formal, itemized review of my account generation credits versus peak charges for this billing cycle. Furthermore, I ask for a direct response outlining how the current leadership intends to address punishing summer spikes for long-standing residential solar owners who invested in grid-relief infrastructure. I cannot and will not recommend the SRP Solar Program to neighbors, family, or fellow homeowners under the current structures and board.

Srp sucks. I live in Tempe and my power has gone out more than 6 times this year. Im starting to think I live in a third world nation. They raise our power bill every year but they can't seem to keep the power on were I live. They seem to just keep patching the issue but never upgrading the equipment that keeps failing. If there was another power company I could go with I and im sure 80% of their customers would do the same.

We lost power at around 845 in the evening. No big deal, except SRP continually pushed the restoration time back. We are now looking at a projected restoration of 3PM the following day. The cause is downed power lines. How does it take you over 5 hours to figure out the power is out due to lines being down? By the time you projected the outage would be over 5 hours, which per your website is the MINIMUM time you will reimburse for ice, and ONLY up to 10 measly dollars, all stores were closed. There was no way to save my groceries. The rep on the phone was very kind. Clearly it was not his fault. However SRP refuses to reimburse for the spoiled food I now have to deal with. Hundreds of dollars worth of food meant to last weeks is now gone. In a time where prices for everything are skyrocketing, SRP refuses to take care of the customers they serve, including my 4 month old son. Furthermore you increased rates last year in order to beef up the grid. Which promptly failed spectacularly. As well, you increased your CEO's salary, which was already over $1 million. Disgusting behavior for a public utility company.

If you own a rental property be aware of the “gotcha” with creating multiple accounts when you add back service on a property after a tenant moves out and then them not linking them resulting in late payments even though you set up auto pay immediately after readding service to the same address. Inexperienced and unhelpful representatives.
